Questions about the Konica Minolta Magicolor 5670en Printer.
Q: My printer is saying ‘incorrect toner detected’
A: There are three possibilities for this issue to be happening. First of all check that you have installed the right color to its right spot, every cartridge has a chip that help the machine recognize its color, you should insert the black cartridge into the black stop, otherwise the printer won’t work. Check the laser lenses, if they’re dirty you have to clean them. And finally, check that the toner you bought is actually the right cartridge for your printer. Some Konica Toner Cartridges are similar in the outside but the chip is specific for each printer.
Q: My Konica 5670en is printing blue images as green, what can I do?
A: You have either a defective cartridge or a problem with the drum unit or fuser unit.
Q: I have just replaced the Magicolor 5670en Toner but the printer keeps saying toner missing. Any ideas?
A: First of all check that you have installed the cartridge correctly, that you’ve removed all the tapes covering the cartridge. If the cartridge is properly installed then try cleaning the laser lens.
Q: I have replaced the black toner cartridge on my Konica 5670en printer, but it keeps sayin K toner is out... How can I fix this?
A: First of all check if the cartridge is properly installed, if it is, try cleaning the laser lens. If it doesn’t work then either the new cartridge is defective, the chip is not working properly or both of them are defective.
Q: I’m having issues when printing in color with my Konica Minolta Magicolor 5670en. First there were too much yellow and now there is too much red. Do I have to replace the cartridges.
A: It sounds like a problem with the drum units. Try replacing both magenta and yellow.
