Replacing Ricoh Aficio 200 toner cartridges

Replacing the Ricoh Aficio 200 toner cartridges is a very important part of printing successfully. A bad installation can cause problems that go from bad printing quality to damaging the toner cartridges or other printer parts.
Here are some easy steps that you can use to remove used toner cartridges and install new ones without damaging your printer or your Ricoh Aficio 200 toner cartridges.

Before start replacing the toner cartridges keep in mind the following safety recommendations:

CAUTION:

• - Do not burn or throw used toner cartridges into open flames, as this may cause a fire
• - If toner gets onto your hands or clothing, wash it off immediately with cold water. Do not use warm water as this may set the toner permanently, and you may not be able to remove the toner stains

Removing the used Ricoh Aficio 200 toner cartridge

1. Open the front cover of the machine.

2. Lift the green holder.

3. Push the green lever, and gently pull out the holder.

4. Press the Ricoh Aficio 200 toner cartridge backward to raise its head, then gently pull it out.

Installing the new Ricoh Aficio 200 toner cartridge

5. Hold the new Ricoh 200 toner cartridge horizontally and shake it 5 or 6 times.

CAUTION: Do not remove the black cap when shaking

6. Remove the black cap.

CAUTION: Do not remove the inner cap.

7. Put the Ricoh Aficio 200 toner on the holder, then press its head forward.

8. Push the holder until it clicks.

9. Push down the green holder.

10. Close the front cover of the machine.
